About As One Architecture
As the pace of the world seems to pick up - the way we design has not kept up. Exploding populations, changing demographics, financial instability, land pressures, the digital world, energy sources and environmental concerns have all signaled a new architecture. As One embraces these changes and aims to respond to the dynamic needs of the 21st century with evolved ideas and forms, while also recognizing what has worked before. We work to solve the technical requirements and needs of the client while also crafting a creative, intelligent architectural solution. We are seeking clients who share this vision.
Paul Hunnicutt, principal architect and founder of As One has over 12 years experience in architecture. Hands-on construction experience allows As One to bridge the gap between architectural theory and physical constructions. With experience in a variety of building types As One is positioned to solve unique design problems rather than focusing on one type of building. We employ the latest production techniques including 3D modeling, animations, Building Information Modeling (BIM), as well as tried and true methods of modeling, hand drawing & sketching, and of course 2D orthographic drawings. Paul Hunnicutt also works as a artist in the mediums of photography, watercolor, and creating objects and installations.
Currently licensed in Colorado and Maryland, but also by being NCARB certified, As One can obtain a license in any state in the US or abroad. No project is too big or too small and no location too far away. With travel experience to every continent not covered in ice (36 countries and counting), As One welcomes clients from all corners of the world. The shortest distance between two points is not always following a straight line. As One looks to guide the way.
