ASONE remodeled the foyer and exterior entry to a house in South Boulder. A new curving trellis gracefully rises up to cover the front door. Cedar slats, rusted steel siding, and corrugated metal roofing help redefine the aging stucco front facade. ASONE obtained a variance through the City of Boulder in order to build additional foyer space into the front yard setback. The wood slats continue into the interior of the space, bringin the outside in. The foyer was opened up and instead of a cramped, dark space, is now a light filled, welcoming modern entry. Concealed LED lights cast a soft glow onto the deck at night.
